ALL TEX Staffing & Personnel, North Houston Client is seeking a motivated professional Color-Lab-Technician to conduct color matching, fulfill sample orders, and help provide solutions to customer problems. Lab Technician provides support to the development of industrial manufacturing coating paint. Ideal candidate will have strong color sense, care, and attention to detail to sustain profitable growth while brightening the lives of customers. You and Technical Service co-workers work closely with Operations teams of Materials Scientists, Coatings Chemists, Production, and Quality Control to ensure the best solution is developed and presented to final paint color.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

· Analyzes product samples (includes analysis, specification comparison, and reporting)

· Aids in continual laboratory process refinement and improvements

· Performs laboratory housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and other work as required.

Education

· Bachelor’s Degree physical science or chemistry preferred.

· Two years of experience and has demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of product specifications, test procedures, test significance, and the value the larger organization derives from lab-generated analytical data.

Work Experience

· None required. Color match, QC, and lab experience a plus.

· Forklift experience a plus.

· Chemical manufacturing experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Ability to: communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with co-workers, supervisors, and internal and external customers

· Ability to: work in stressful conditions

· Ability to: use computer with the Windows operating system to complete timesheets, send and receive emails, and access information posted on the Company’s intranet

· Ability to: to work on both 1st and 2nd shifts schedules and call-out basis.

· Ability to: Lift 30lbs, stand, walk, bend, reach, walk for long periods.

· Ability to: work with strong chemical smell.

Pay $19+ Based on experience

1st shift – 7AM to 4:30PM

2nd shift – 2PM to 1130PM
